    Da quanto ho letto, è fan di un pò tutto il metal.
    Se non ricordo male,tempo fa,pubblicò sul suo Twitter le foto che aveva fatto con Hetfield, Lars e Hammett nel backstage di un concerto dei 'Tallica al quale era andato.
    Chissà se un giorno anche Sheamus avrà un'occasione per farsi fotografare con James [SM=x2567198]

    In realtà stavano toureggiando un po' insieme, tant'è che hanno avuto pure un incidente col pullman (senza feriti, ma - racconta Jericho - sono andati fuori strada mentre parlavano della morte di Burton [SM=x2567208] ).

    Per fortuna che nessuno si è fatto male.
    Comunque credo che, in futuro, anche i Fozzy e gli Anthrax seguiranno l'esempio dei Metallica: niente più viaggi in pullman !

    allora, ascoltato per bene ieri. fondamentalmente un buon album, anche se al momento gli preferisco "we've come for you all". qualche pezzo veramente tosto (the devil you know, fight'em..) e qualche pezzo più rilassato, con il classico riffing nervoso ma preciso di ian. benante è il solito rullo compressore, in generale l'album viaggia senza particolari cedimenti e anche belladonna sembra a proprio agio nell'attuale anthrax sound, anche se credo che bush abbia una timbrica ed una versatilità più adatte al "nuovo" corso della band. forse con john alla voce "worship music" avrebbe guadagnato un mezzo punto in più nella valutazione complessiva, che cmq resta buona.

    Stò ascoltando l' ultimo album e faccio ufficialmente retromarcia da quanto scritto in precedenza, devo dire che è molto bello, soprattutto nella sua varietà.

    ANTHRAX Guitarist Scott Ian Hospitalized, Drummer Charlie Benante Drops Off Tour Due To Mother's Illness; DEATH ANGEL And TESTAMENT Members Step In - "The Metal Community Is All About Unity"

    According to Loudwire.com, ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian missed the band's recent Kansas City show due to an unspecified illness. The band has since released a statement explaining that Ian is battling a severe viral infection, forcing him to be hospitalized in Los Angeles. As a result, Ian missed the band's Indianapolis gig. He is expected to return to the line-up tonight (January 28th) in Fort Wayne.

    In addition, the band also announced that drummer Charlie Benante has left the tour to be at the bedside of his terminally ill mother in New York.

    Rather than cancel any shows, Anthrax asked their TESTAMENT and DEATH ANGEL tourmates to fill in the blanks. Guitarist Rob Caggiano commented:

    “We didn’t want to cancel any of the concerts, we didn’t want to let anyone down, so we decided to figure out a way to keep the show on the road. We’re so grateful to the guys in Testament and Death Angel for stepping up.”

    Death Angel checked in with the following update:

    "Thank you Kansas City, MO for a great a show of support to Anthrax. In case some of you didn't know, Anthrax's Scott Ian wasn't able to make the show. Anthrax decided to move forth with the show and asked Rob and Ted to step in and play a few songs. Rob got to jam 'In The End' and Ted jammed out 'Medusa' and 'Got The Time'. They had a blast jamming these sick ass tunes with them (considering they only had less than a day to learn the songs. Plus no rehearsal with the band). The metal community is all about unity. KILL AS ONE!!!"

    They followed it the next day with an update and a photo from Indianapolis:

    "Rob and Ted with Anthrax (featuring Gene Hoglan). They were asked again to come up and jam some more songs. Rob got to jam 'The Devil You Know', 'In The End' and 'Madhouse'. Ted jammed on 'Got The Time', 'Medusa' and 'Indians'. Fun times. Thank you Anthrax!"
